BENGKEL SENILUKIS BERSAMA PELUKIS JEMPUTAN FATHULLAH LUQMAN YUSSUF

• Bengkel Senilukis anjuran YKP dengan kerjasama Balai Seni Lukis Negara(BSLN) dan Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian dan Warisan Negeri Perak telah berlangsung pada 7 April 2007 di RumahYKP. Seramai 30 orang peserta yang terdiri daripada para remaja dan kanak-kanak telah diberi pengertian dan makna seni oleh pelukis jemputan Fathullah Luqman Yussuf melalui metodologi penceritaan-penceritaan yang menarik.
  
  Fathullah, pemuzik yang banyak menghasilkan ciptaan lagu-lagu bernafas kontemporari kini melangkah setapak lagi dengan bakatnya sebagai seorang pelukis. Beliau menjadikan Ipoh sebagai lokasi pertama bagi merasmikan projek kembara seninya yang bergelar 'NYALA'. Projek ini merupakan sebuah projek 'mengenal diri' serta mencari makna sebenar seni melalui pertembungan beliau dengan penggiat-penggiat seni di seluruh Semenanjung nanti.
  
  Dengan terlaksananya Bengkel Senilukis ini, tamatlah sudah tempoh singgahseni Fathullah di Ipoh selama satu minggu. Sebuah acara pertemuan telah diatur di sebelah malam untuk merai serta menyokong proses kembara seni beliau. Rakan-rakan seniman antaranya seperti Meor 'folk', Myo Bodysurf, Jay Freelove, Kamal Sabran, Amirul Fakir dan Abror Rivai telah hadir di malam yang amat bermakna ini.
  
  

• An Art Workshop organised by YKP with the cooperation of National Art Gallery and Department of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Perak was held at Rumah YKP on 7th April 2007. Guest artist Fathullah Luqman Yussuf, through his interesting presentation, introduced 30 participants comprised of teenagers and schoolchildren, to the meaning of art.
  
  Fathullah, a musician who creates many songs of contemporary nuances now advances a step forward as an artist in his creative venture. He chose Ipoh as the first location to start off his art expedition project entitled ‘NYALA’. This project is about the act of ‘knowing one own self’ and to find the true meaning of art through his encounter with arts practitioners all around the Peninsular.
  
  With the completion of this Art Workshop, Fathullah’s one-week visit to Ipoh ends. A gathering was held that evening to celebrate and support the process of his art expedition. Artists friends such as Meor 'folk', Myo Bodysurf, Jay Freelove, Kamal Sabran, Amirul Fakir dan Abror Rivai attended the casual but meaningful ensemble.
