Pada
13 November 2003, Rumahykp telah menerima kunjungan daripada pelukis dan pengkaji
seni dari Australia, Helen Stacey.
Beliau
yang telah beberapa kali hadir ke Festival Pekan Seni Ipoh untuk mengenali dunia
seni tempatan, kembali untuk merangka kemungkinan-kemungkinan penganjuran bersama
program-program seni yang melibatkan artis-artis Malaysia-Australia.
YKP
turut membawa tetamu khas ini ke studio salah seorang artis seramik Tan Vooi Yam.
Helen
Stacey, an artist and art researcher from Australia was at the Perak Arts Foundation
on the 13th November 2003. She has been attending the Ipoh Arts Festival several
times in order to discover our local art scene.
Helen
came back this time to look for possibilities of organising art programs which
involve Malaysian-Australia artists.
This
special guest was then introduced to a ceramic artist Tan Vooi Yam at his studio.
